FAST FUEL MATRIX

Intense and prolonged exercise requires glycogen for energy and electrolytes for fluid balance. Carbo•Hydration provides both in the right ratio to make sure it gets from your bottle into your body, without the worry of stomach issues.

 

How Do I Use Carbo•Hydration?

 

Pre race - we recommend adding 1 - 2 scoops to a sport bottle and sipping it up until about 15 minutes prior to the start. This can take the place of your usual pre race gel. 

 

During training and racing - for those short and intense efforts where it is hard to consume solid food, we suggest consuming 1 - 3 scoops per bottle, per hour of exercise. For longer, sustained efforts, we suggest 2 - 3 scoops per bottle, per hour of exercise. For ultra distances we find it is best to use a combination of solid food + Carbo•Hydration. 

 

Each athlete is very different so you will need to experiment to find which combination works best for you.
